Snigdha Roy

Snigdha Roy is an architect and educator with a background in both academia and professional practice. She completed her B.Arch. and Master's in Interior Architecture from Ansal University. Currently, she is pursuing a part-time PhD at Sushant University, focusing on interior architecture, heritage conservation and the adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Snigdha has presented research papers at international conferences, addressing topics like millennial living and the cultural importance of regional food. She has also worked as an Architect and Team Leader at Studio Mathema, where she contributed to residential interior projects, managing everything from design to site visits.

In her teaching career, she has held positions at GITAM University and Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, engaging in both teaching and administration. On August 30, 2024, she rejoined GITAM University as an Assistant Professor, taking on various academic and administrative roles.
