WOOD FORM STRUCTURE
GITAM School of Architecture conducted a carpentry workshop for architecture students as an integral part of their curriculum. In this immersive, hands-on exercise, students crafted pencil stands inspired by iconic architectural buildings—merging thoughtful design with skilled craftsmanship.
Guided by experienced carpenters, the students brought their architectural concepts to life, gaining practical experience in woodworking, structural understanding, and form exploration. This collaborative project provided a meaningful opportunity to blend creative vision with fundamental carpentry techniques, enriching their architectural education.
