Conducted by GITAM School of Architecture, in collaboration with RVS Chennai, this week-long workshop brought together students for an inspiring journey of design thinking and spatial innovation.
Under the theme “Compassionate Campus: Regenerative Mobility & Micro-Habitat Networks”, students reimagined GITAM’s internal streetscapes — turning vehicular corridors into vibrant, pedestrian-first public spaces.
The video captures the spirit of teamwork, where design groups worked hands-on with real campus zones, proposing bioswales, shaded walkways, outdoor learning pods, and zero-emission circulation routes. Every sketch, model, and drawing reflected a shared vision of sustainability and empathy.
A heartfelt thank you to all students, faculty, and volunteers who made this initiative a meaningful step toward regenerative design.
