IIA - illumino
GITAM School of Architecture was awarded affiliation with the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) at the IIA Illumino Expo and Conference 2025.
The school participated in the Expo with a modest yet creative stall showcasing student works with an interactive wall of light and shadow. We also conducted an engaging survey on urban light perceptions with the visitors to the stall.
At the conference, GSA’s contribution went beyond academics — students presented a theme-based performance portraying the evolution of Visakhapatnam’s built environment through dance and storytelling expressed through shadow puppetry. ??
