GITAM School of Architecture, Visakhapatnam hosted “Earth Form Structure” , a clay modelling workshop by artist and sculptor Anitha Rao. The workshop has been a rewarding experience for everyone who participated. The principal, staff and students from Delhi Public International School visited GSA for this workshop, where they explored the process of transforming ideas into tangible forms. By working with clay alongside our students, they gained a deeper understanding of shapes, proportions, and spatial relationships from an architectural perspective. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for architecture students to enhance their skills in a real, hands-on way. It served as a powerful reminder of the importance of working with nature and how it can inspire creativity and bring design concepts to life
Here are some highlights from the workshop and the amazing work our students created.
