Documenting Heritage at Bheemunipatnam
The GITAM School of Architecture organised a heritage documentation visit for Semester VII students of Introduction to Architectural Conservation. An insightful site visit to the Bheemunipatnam with Associate Professor Piyush das, Associate Professor Ravindra Patnayaka, and curator P. Venkata Rama Reddy offered an invaluable opportunity to observe and understand the heritage and construction techniques of age-old buildings. Students could closely examine the relationship between lifestyles and habitat.
This on-site interaction helped students realize the importance of heritage and history.
