Contemporary architectural education in India remains largely rooted in colonial frameworks, marginalising indigenous knowledge systems. There is a critical research gap in systematically documenting, theorising, and integrating traditional building practices, climatic wisdom, and local standards into curricula to evolve a context-responsive, culturally grounded architectural pedagogy.
