Ar. Shamanth Kumar Battu has completed his Bachelors in Architecture B.Arch -2002 from JNTUC Hyderabad and Masters in Urban Planning -2007 from School Of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Currently Pursuing PhD from SPA Vijayawada Architect and Urban Planner with 20 plus years of experience in practices in India.
He worked with Ar. Hafez Contractor as a senior consultant for Buildings and Urban Design Guidelines for Amravati capital City, Andhra Pradesh. Before AHC he worked with Infosys as Regional Manager Infrastructure for Infosys Ltd, Bengaluru.
He has worked as an Architect for Al Waab City with Arab Tech, Doha, Qatar. He is a LEED® Green Associate™ certified by Green Business Certification Inc , IGBC AP certified by
The Indian Green Building Council, GEM Certified Professional certified by ASSOCHAM. Reg member, Council of Architects, India. Reg No: CA/2004/33990.
Reg member of Institute of Town Planners of India, Associate Member: 2013-134
Research Interests: Climate Change and Sustainability, Thermal Comfort, Climates Responsive building design Strategies.
