Ar. Shamanth Kumar Battu has completed his B.Arch from JNTUC, Hyderabad (2002) and M.Arch in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture (2007). He is currently pursuing Ph.D. from SPA, Vijayawada.
He has twenty years of experience in the professional field, where he worked with Ar. Hafez contractor as senior consultant for Amravati, the Capital City of Andhra Pradesh, and worked as an Architect and Technical co-ordinator with Arab Tech, Doha, Qatar.
He is a LEED-certified, GEM-certified, and IGBC certified Professional.

- advocating passive design strategies for daylighting.
- ventilation and water conservation for Energy efficient and intelligent buildings, simultaneously targeting the green building ratings without compromising the architectural intent.
