Dr. Dibya Jivan completed his B.Arch from PMCA-Cuttack in 2007 and Masters in City Planning from IIT-Kharagpur. He started his career in teaching at Manipal University in 2010. He was selected by MHRD (Govt. of India) for Japanese MEXT Scholarship to pursue Ph.D. in Kumamoto University, Japan. After completion of Doctoral degree in 2016 he served at NIT-Rourkela, Odisha. He joined School of Architecture, GITAM in 2017 & currently working as an Associate Professor undertaking various academic and administrative responsibilities. He has published several papers in reputed journals and conferences in diverse topics related to Solid Waste Management, Avian friendly Architecture, Affordable Housing construction with waste, Disaster Risk Reduction and Heritage
