GITAM School of Architecture, Visakhapatnam, is organising a one-day workshop on Sustainable Building Strategies on 30th January 2024. The workshop will be conducted by Swati Puchalapalli, Director of Terra Viridis Consultants LLP, and a founding member of the GRIHA Council, who has worked with leading architectural practices to achieve sustainable design benchmarks. The participants, comprising M. Arch (Sustainable Architecture) and B. Arch final year students, will learn various strategies on passive design, including her insights derived from vernacular architecture with a simulation-based, data-driven approach to designing high-performance, high-comfort, and net- zero (Energy + water + waste) buildings. She will also interact with M. Arch (Sustainable Architecture) Thesis students individually to enhance their thesis outcome.
