GITAM School of Architecture ’s Power-Packed Workshop on Research & Criticality in Architecture! 
GSA hosted an electrifying two-day workshop (Jan 20-21, 2025) with Dr. Badrinarayanan Srinivasan an architect, academic, and thought leader with 40+ years of expertise in design pedagogy and research.
Key Highlights:
A talk on his research journey was insightful, and engaging, shedding light on the crucial role of critical thinking in architectural education. Sharing his personal experience, Dr. Badri took participants on a deep dive into an exploration of his research questions of life demonstrating instances of analytical thinking, interdisciplinary approaches, and creative solutions .
Hands-on workshop with Pre-Final Year B.Arch & M.Arch students identifying keywords and framing research questions.
One-on-one thesis interactions with Final Year students articulating ideas and refining narratives .
Faculty brainstorming session reimagining the curriculum to foster research-driven critical thinking.
