Articulating Thesis

The Articulating Design Thesis workshop, led by Rajiv Bhakat, concluded with three dynamic days of exploration. The first day unveiled Rajiv's journey in architecture and urban design, providing all semester participants with unique insights into city-shaping. Diving deeper into the intricacies of design, Rajiv engaged for the next two days in one-to-one sessions with thesis students. This interaction allowed students to receive personal guidance and expert feedback on their thesis projects. In an impactful session with 4th-year students in their 'Under the Bridge' design studio, Rajiv's critiques challenged creative thinking, bridging theory and real-world application. The workshop concluded with a dedicated faculty discussion. Rajiv shared innovative teaching methods and insights on curriculum enhancements, fostering collaborative growth within the academic community. This rich experience has energised the students to delve deeper into their thesis designs.
