GITAM School of Architecture hosted a 3-day workshop by Artist and Architect Golak Khandual as a part of the Night Studio 1.0 from 10th – 12th August 2023. During the first day of the workshop called ‘In Praise of Small Things’, Golak took the students through his journey as an artist and an architect. On the second day, through the talks on 'Lessons from the Desert’, he engaged in an interactive session on his approach and experiences of understanding desert ecosystems and designing in them. A hands-on workshop on 'Drawing Life’ was conducted on the 12th August 2023, introduced the students to the process of observing and sketching the known and unknown.
